Owner Drivers
Kart Types -
We will only allow karts from a recognised manufacturer - sorry no home built frames.
Maximum exhaust noise level 78 db (unfortunately this rules out most two-strokes unless double silenced) .
We will inspect all karts prior to allowing them onto our circuit - steering, brakes, seat, chain guard(s), engine mounting, noise level etc.

Drivers -
We will allow any age from 8 years so long as the kart is suitable for their size and they are able to reach the controls properly with knees slightly bent (sorry, no spacer blocks on the pedals and a maximum 2”  thick manufacturers approved seat insert).
Drivers must bring their own full face helmets with visors (BS/EN spec), race suits (overalls) and gloves, all of which must be worn when driving on the track.
All drivers will be required to sign a disclaimer at the track.
Although not now necessary, drivers should still try and get personal insurance cover that will at least cover third parties against accidents caused by the driver.

Available Session Times -
Weekdays only during public opening hours upto 6.00pm (4.00pm winter).
Late night Thursdays - now starting to take off - phone first ! (£20.00 from 4.30pm to 8.30pm)
Unfortunately it’s not cost effective for us to operate owner drivers at the weekends.

Costs -
£35 per full day, £20 for half day. Max 2 drivers per kart
Transponder Hire - £5.00 including printouts - (you will require an AMB transducer holder on your kart)

Note -
We will require owner drivers to leave the circuit while we have arrive&drive groups running.

A maximum 10 karts will be allowed on the circuit at a time although more karts can be onsite waiting and it will be a case of one off one on when the track is running full. We may need to split heavy/light - junior/senior karts to prevent accidents.
