Owner Drivers (Dec 2007)
Due to the problems with owner drivers obtaining their own third party insurance we have negotiated with our own insurance brokers to relax this requirement. As from now any driver on our circuit will come under our own insurance cover. HOWEVER, please note that like all motor sports ‘driver to driver’ accidents are not covered unless caused by some preventable fault of the circuit operation. For this reason we would still advise owner drivers to seek out some form of third party insurance.

Prices (From Jan 2008)
Unfortunately due to the ever increasing cost of petrol, wages, insurances etc, we will have to change the hire rates for the new year. On the 300m circuit there will be just two rates, £10/15 min covering the junior karts and £15/15 min for the tandems. On the 550m circuit there will be a single £20 rate that will give 20 mins in an intermediate kart or 15 mins in a prokart. We will also increase the minimum age for the prokarts upto 17 years (from 16 years) and the minimum teams for endurance races will start from 4 in the week, 5 Saturdays and 7 Sundays.

Owner Drivers (May 2008)
Unfortunately, because of the time and effort required, the regular group of owner drivers have turned out to be too difficult to organise into a club meeting on a regular basis. We are now back to the old routine of offering some Thursday evenings for owner drivers, the current list of scheduled evenings can be reached from here.
Please note, we require at least six owner drivers to phone us by the Tuesday evening and say they will come to a particular session before we will run it. A final decision will be made by the Wednesday afternoon.
